Tokarczuk creates a full, easily imaginable medieval world (the story starts in the 1700s).Īt a couple of points I laughed out loud and I immediately love an author that remembers to do that in a story. (I have heard that page numbers are either backwards or jumbled but with the ebook you don’t notice unless you look for it.) ![]() ![]() The person ahead of me either gave up early or decided to get a physical copy because I was able to pick it up earlier than I expected. I was able to find a copy at my library and check out the ebook. I jumped in and after spending 4 years with Miss Young and Miss MacIntosh this reading is engaging but also feels like a walk in the park. ![]()
